I have known Charley since he was a rookie with the New York Mets and have stayed in touch with him as he retired from baseball and began his professional career in medical device sales and support. We often traded good natured jabs about his Vols and my Gators, but when push comes to shove, this is a guy you need as part of your team. He's professional, well spoken, a good communicator and finds a way to get to "yes" when you need it. When I left baseball and started a new job helping to build a new Human Performance program with Air Force Special Operations in the Florida Panhandle, he was one of the first I reached out to to help build my medical equipment inventory. I value his friendship and his support of our program.
